Training given to CHOs on diagnostic kits at Mata Kushalya Hospital Patiala

Patiala, October 28 - Training on six types of diagnostic tests was conducted for the Community Health Officers of Ayushman Arogya Kendras under the leadership of Civil Surgeon Patiala Dr. Jagpalinder Singh at the conference hall of Mata Kushalya Hospital, Patiala.
Speaking on the occasion, District Family Welfare Officer Dr. Balkar Singh said that six types of diagnostic tests will be conducted in all Ayushman Kendras and diagnostic kits will be provided in this regard such as hemoglobin meter, strips and lancets, malaria kits, HIV Syphilis dual kits, HbsAg kits, HCV kits and salt testing kit.
All Community Health Officers will further train MPHV Male and Female, ASHA Facilitators and ASHA Workers on the use of these kits. On this occasion, Dr. Amandeep Kaur, Pathologist, Civil Hospital, Rajpura and DPM Ritika Grover provided information about Malaria, Care Companion Program and Mobile Care Companion App.
Senior Medical Officer Dr. Vikas Goyal, Senior Associate, Noora Association, Shilinder Kumar, Care Companion Program Coordinator, Manpreet Kaur, District Mass Media Officers Kulvir Kaur and Jasjit Kaur and the entire Mass Media Wing team were present on this occasion.
