Zirakpur, 24 March 2026: Today, on the instructions of the Punjab State Traders Commission, an important meeting was organised at Patiala Road, Zirakpur in Assembly constituency Derabassi for the resolution of traders’ problems. This meeting was led by SDM Derabassi Amit Gupta and Shri Tarlochan Singh Baidwan, Vice Chairman, District Traders Commission Mohali and District President Trade Wing Mohali.
The meeting was attended by Shri Parminder Singh Bhatti, EO Zirakpur, Shri Sameer Kumar, ETO GST, Madam Mamta, GST officer, Shri Gurjot Singh, GST officer, Shri Ram Singh Rana, Labour Inspector, Shri Manoj Kumar, Inspector Municipal Corporation Zirakpur, Shri Gurpreet Singh Virk, Director PRTC, Shri Ashok Kumar, Labour Inspector Dera Bassi, Shrimati Rajni Gupta, Inspector Food Supply, Colonel Amrik Singh Bhullar, District President Ex-Servicemen Mohali, Shri Mandeep Singh Mataur, President SC Wing Mohali, Shri Darshan Singh Mataur along with a large number of traders from Zirakpur.
During the meeting, traders placed their various problems and suggestions before the administration. The present officers resolved these issues immediately with sensitivity and in some cases solutions were provided on the spot. Assurance was given to resolve the remaining matters in a time-bound manner.
On this occasion, the traders expressed gratitude to the Punjab Government for establishing the Traders Commission and said that this has provided an effective platform for the resolution of traders’ problems. They praised the government’s trader-friendly policies and assured to support the government in future as well.
