Tikshan Sood presented medals to the winners of the 13th District Yoga Competition
Hoshiarpur:- Former Cabinet Minister, President of the District Yoga Association, Chairman of the Punjab Yoga Association and Senior Vice President of the National Yoga Federation, Mr. Tikshan Sood presented medals to the winners of the Yoga Competition of Hoshiarpur District.
Dr. Keshav Sood, Dr. Bharat Bhushan Sood, social worker Sushil Chauhan, Mr. Sanjeev Gupta, Mrs. Neerja Sood, Mrs. Tajinder Kaur, Mrs. Monica Sood, Mrs. Shruti Sood, Mrs. Aarti Sood, Mrs. Archana Jain, Anita, Mr. Anil Kumar Sood, Mr. Akshay, Mr. Ashish Sood, Mr. Joginder Singh, Yoga Judges Mr. Ram Chander, Mr. Surinder, Mrs. Poonam Sandhu, Mr. Jatin, Mr. Munish Kumar, etc. were also present.
In this two-day program:
In the 8-10 year category for girls, Simrat Saini secured first place, Loveleen Kaur second, and Ishita Rani third.
In the 10-12 year category for girls, Purnima Sharma secured first place, Jasmeet second, and Harshita Aggarwal third.
In the 12-14 year category for girls, Himani secured first place, Mokshita second, and Navjot Kaur third.
In the 14-16 year category for girls, Rajpreet Kaur secured first place, Bhavana second, and Srishti Kumari third.
In the 16-18 year category for girls, Ekam Kaur secured first place, Janvi Rohela second, and Sita third.
In the 8-10 year category for boys, Arush Singh secured first place, Danish Aggarwal second, and Aditya Nayyar third.
In the 10-12 years category for boys, Ekampreet Singh secured first place, Diwan Kumar, Agamveer, and Chetan secured second place, and Sharanjot Singh secured third place.
In the 12-14 years category for boys, Dinkar Sharma secured first place, Gautam secured second place, and Manveer Singh secured third place.
In the 16-18 years category for boys, Vishal Kumar secured first place.
Overall, the first place trophy was won by SD City Public School, Adamwal, followed by Kids Public School, BR Sainik School, and Yoga Seva Ashram, and third place by Mount Carmel School. Yoga students also presented colorful cultural programs on this occasion.
Mr. Sood stated that yoga has become essential for everyone's all-round development. Life is incomplete without yoga. He added that the District Yoga Association is strengthening the physical, mental, and spiritual confidence of young children by connecting them with yoga. He appealed to the residents to provide all possible support to the District Yoga Association.
Mr. Sood especially thanked the Yoga Association's managers, yoga teachers, and competition judges. He expressed hope that the Hoshiarpur team, which competes in the state competition, will bring home many medals as before.
