Threeday Mahapada of farmers at Chief Ministers residence from today
Ambala, February 22:- The office bearers of the Bharatiya Kisan Union (Shaheed Bhagat Singh) said that a Maha-pada is being held at the residence of Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini in Kurukshetra for three days on February 23, 24 and 25 to get the demands of farmers and laborers accepted. The union's district presidents Gurmeet Singh Majri and Jai Singh Jalbera released a video message and said that this Maha-pada was already kept to get the demands of farmers/laborers accepted. Their demands include implementation of Swaminathan's report, complete debt waiver, crop damage, looting in the markets and issues like cut pension of the elderly, cut ration cards of laborers etc. Majri said that farmers of Ambala blocks one and two will gather at ND Plaza Mohra and will gather in Tau Devi Lal Park as a Sangat and reach in front of the Chief Minister's house at 1 pm. The union leaders have also appealed to the farmers to bring milk for tea etc. and to provide langar to the gurdwaras for three days.
