ThreeDay Health Checkup Camp for Sanitation Workers Begins Today

Karnal, February 3:- A district-level health check-up camp for sanitation workers of this district, organized by the Haryana State Sanitation Workers Commission, will be held at the Polyclinic in Sector-16 from February 4 to 6. The camp will be open from 9 AM to 3 PM.
Deputy Commissioner Uttam Singh has assigned duties to officers from various departments to ensure the success of the camp. The Chief Executive Officer of the District Council has been appointed as the nodal officer for sanitation workers in rural areas. He will ensure that sanitation workers from rural areas are encouraged to participate in the camp and are informed about it. The attendance of the sanitation workers participating in the camp will also be recorded in the prescribed format. 
The Deputy Municipal Commissioner has been appointed as the nodal officer for sanitation workers in urban areas. He has been instructed to make arrangements for mobile toilets and proper sanitation at the camp site. SMO Dr. Neeru said that all preparations have been completed for the health check-up of the sanitation workers at the camp.
She informed that nine counters will be set up at the camp site. In addition to her, a team of six other doctors will be present for the general OPD. Two pharmacists will be deployed for dispensing medicines. Arrangements have been made for tests such as sputum and blood sugar. X-ray facilities will also be available in a mobile van.
Deputy Commissioner Uttam Singh appealed to all sanitation workers to participate in the camp in large numbers and get their health checked. Sanitation workers make tireless efforts for the cleanliness of society, and ensuring their health is our collective responsibility.
