Three Moga schools threatened to be bombed

Moga:- An atmosphere of panic prevailed in Moga city when three major schools received a bomb threat via email. The local administration and police swung into action and evacuated students and staff from the schools. An anonymous email received by private schools claimed that explosives had been placed in the school buildings and would be blown up.
The school management informed the police as soon as the email was received. Following safety norms, the schools were immediately evacuated and parents were asked to pick up their children midway. A heavy police force, along with bomb disposal squads and dog squads, reached the spot and a search operation was launched to check the buildings.
