Karnal, June 06: Taking effective action to curb theft incidents, the CIA-3 team of the Karnal District Police—led by Assistant Sub-Inspector Naveen Kumar—arrested two accused individuals based on a tip-off.
The arrested accused have been identified as Amit (son of Rajesh Kumar) and Shivam (son of Manoj Kumar), both residents of Madrasi Mohalla, Ram Nagar, Karnal. The police recovered stolen items and the motorcycle used in the crime from their possession.
The investigating officer stated that on the morning of June 4, the two accused had stolen water taps from the Kalpana Chawla Medical Hospital complex. A case regarding the theft was registered at the Civil Lines Police Station.
Acting swiftly, the police team apprehended both accused. Following interrogation and the completion of necessary legal formalities, they were produced before the honorable court, which remanded them to judicial custody.
