The Womens Patanjali Yoga Committee celebrated Makar Sankranti with a HavanYagna
Ratia, January 15: The Women's Patanjali Yoga Committee of Ratia organized a Havan-Yagna (fire ritual) with devotion and enthusiasm at the park in Model Town on the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti for the protection of the environment, purification of the atmosphere, and the prosperity of the region. On this occasion, the women offered oblations into the sacred fire while chanting mantras and prayed for the welfare of all humanity.
The program was presided over by the organization secretary, Sanju Mehta. On this occasion, Mehta said that the Havan-Yagna is an important part of our ancient Vedic tradition, which purifies the mind, body, and environment. She extolled the glory of the great festival of Makar Sankranti, saying that it is one of the most important Hindu festivals. On this day, the sun enters the Capricorn zodiac sign, which is considered auspicious.
She congratulated everyone and, in her address, highlighted the importance of Makar Sankranti and also praised the work of Patanjali Yoga Peeth. Sanju Mehta, Neha Mehta, Saroj Mehta, Sunita Mehta, Sunita Agarwal, Rita Chopra, Praveen Mehta, Neelam Agarwal, and other women were present on this occasion.
