Una, February 11: Traffic on the Umrali-Chetran-Dhilwan road (kilometers 0/000 to 2/400) under Sub-Division Haroli will be closed from February 13th to March 14th (30 days). For smooth traffic movement, traffic has been diverted to the Umrali-Laluwal-Hiran Thada-Dhilwan road.
Una District Magistrate Jatin Lal has issued orders in this regard under Sections 115 and 116 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. These orders have been issued to ensure smooth and expeditious construction of cement concrete pavement on the concerned road.
The Deputy Commissioner has directed the concerned officials to install advance signage to inform the public about the road closure and to inform them of the diversion.
