Hoshiarpur: Birkam Talwar, Mrs. Regina Talwar, and Mrs. Sudha Talwar visited JSS Asha Kiran Special School, Jahankhela. They were accompanied by Mukesh Goyal, MD, Savitri Pallywood, Mrs. Alka Goyal, Mrs. Kailash Devi Goyal, Mrs. Harvinder Kaur Chopra, and Mrs. Rajinder Kaur Chopra.
The guests were welcomed by Colonel Gurmeet Singh, Secretary of Ashadeep Welfare Society, and Patron Paramjit Singh Sachdeva, who provided information about the school.
Paramjit Sachdeva stated that the school has 110 mentally challenged students, and 25 special needs students live in the school hostel. He explained that the school provides special education, special therapy, resource room activities, and rehabilitation for special needs students. On this occasion, Birkam Talwad and his family presented a cheque for 50,000 rupees to the school. Mukesh Goyal arranged refreshments for the special needs children. Ram Asra, Principal Shaili Sharma, and others were also present.
