Una, November 27th: The Jogipanga-Tanda-Talai-Lidkot road (kilometers 11/000 to 16/000) from Gharwasda to Lidkot will be temporarily closed to vehicular traffic from November 28th to December 17th. This decision has been taken to ensure the speedy and safe completion of road upgrades and construction work. Due to the single lane, no alternative route will be available during this period.
Una Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal has issued orders in this regard under Sections 115 and 116 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. He has directed the concerned officials to notify the public of the road closure and to install signage in advance to inform the public of the route change.
