The investigation into the rice scam under political patronage is condemnable Ratan Mann

Karnal, November 1: Farmers held a Kisan Panchayat at Deen Bandhu Sir Chhotu Ram Kisan Bhawan and condemned the government through the media for the rice scam worth thousands of crores. They strongly condemned this tyrannical loot of government revenue from farmers and warned the government that if the masterminds of this corrupt system were not arrested within two days, it would be clearly assumed that this loot was carried out with the government's connivance to fill their coffers. The Kisan Panchayat was chaired by District President Surendra Singh Ghuman and conducted by Sham Singh Mann.
Bharatiya Kisan Union State President Ratan Mann said that the BJP government came to power against corruption. However, the BJP rule has dwarfed the corruption of previous governments. Scams worth thousands of crores are being committed in the name of farmers every day. This corrupt system is tarnishing the name of farmers. All the officials involved in the rice scam worth thousands of crores of rupees in the state are favorites of BJP leaders, and BJP leaders are secretly partners in the fraudulent rice mills.
Since the BJP government came to power, some BJP-affiliated individuals have set up their own rice mills to carry out such scams, and some have secretly become partners. Ratanman said that scams have been committed during the procurement of several crops, including paddy, millet, cotton, and mung beans.
If a proper and impartial investigation is conducted, the Haryana government could lose its position. He said that the current investigation is not going to yield any results. The investigating officers are wasting time by making excuses so that the millers can find a way to protect themselves by procuring paddy from other sources in the near future.
District President Surendra Singh Ghuman said that the government is trying to protect itself by taking action against minor employees, but farmers will no longer fall for this charade. He stated that the farmers would not retreat from the streets until action was taken against senior officials and leaders. He warned that if the government did not take immediate and concrete steps, the BKU would formulate a state-wide agitation strategy.
Farmers present at the panchayat unanimously declared that the time had come for the government to account for this corruption of farmers' hard-earned money. They declared that they were steadfast in their demand for a CBI investigation into the scam and would continue the agitation until the truth was revealed.
