Ratia, November 10: The Shri Radha Krishna Temple Management Committee organized a grand and divine Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the Shri Radha Krishna Temple in Shakti Nagar on Monday. The idols of Shri Radha Krishna, the Shivalinga and Shiv Parivar, Shri Khatu Shyam Ji, Shri Hanuman Ji, and Shri Ram Darbar were installed with due rites and rituals. This ceremony was a significant and sacred occasion not only for the temple but for the entire region.
A grand procession was held before the idol installation, in which a large number of devotees participated, expressing their devotion and love for their deities. The procession began from the temple premises, passed through various routes of the city, and concluded at the temple complex. During the procession, devotees celebrated with colors and gulal to the tunes of bhajans and kirtans.
Devotees showered flowers on the deity palanquins participating in the procession, expressing their reverence and respect for their deities. To promote prosperity and brotherhood in the region, the blindfolds of the idols were removed on Monday after a grand ritual in the newly constructed temple and they were shown a mirror. Pandit Kapil Krishna Brijvasi performed the ritual with chanting of mantras.
As soon as the mirror broke, devotees chanted loudly, "Jai Shri Ram," and blessed their lives. Following the final offering of the havan, the first aarti of the Lord was performed, and devotees concluded the ceremony by circumambulating. Following the ceremony, a bhandaar of pure ghee was distributed, and all devotees partook of the prasad.
Today's puja was performed by the family of Navneet Mehta, the head of the Punjabi Sabha. Event chairman Rajesh Setia expressed gratitude to all organizations and residents for their support and said that this ceremony was an important and sacred occasion not only for the temple but for the entire region.
In this function, special support was given by the head of Shri Mata Mahakali Ichchhapurti Mandir Committee Sham Lal Bansal, Vinod Bansal Tana, Jeevan Kumar Garg Secretary, Tarsem Goyal Vice-Chairman, Jonu Mittal Treasurer and Shri Sharda Pipe Factory staff. On this occasion, members like Gyan Chand Chopra, Bhushan Chawla, Pramod Kakkar, Virendra Mehta, Shanti Kakkar, Vinod Doda, Ravi Midha, Harbans Khanna, Anil Rukhaya, Kalu Taneja, Sachin Lalit, Vipul Midha, Mohan Taneja, Ketan Arora, Karnail Sagoo, Goldy Setia, Anshul Batra, Monu Kalra, Khem Chand Nagpal etc were present and they made their important contribution in making this function a success.
