The fifth green Nagar Kirtan was attended by a large number of devotees

Hoshiarpur:- The fifth green Nagar Kirtan dedicated to the 556th Parkash Purb of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji started from Dhanoa village, the source of the holy Bein, and after passing through various villages, it ended at Nirmal Kutia Galowal. After reaching here, the foundation of the new Gurdwara Sahib was laid amidst the joyful chants of the five beloved ones. A large number of devotees participated in this Nagar Kirtan. MLA of Dasuha constituency Karambir Singh Ghuman told the devotees that he has sent the proposal for construction of a road on the banks of Bein to the Punjab government.
Rajya Sabha member and environment lover Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal Ji distributed prasad of plants on a large scale during the Nagar Kirtan. Throughout the Nagar Kirtan, Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal made the Sangat aware of the philosophy of Sahib Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and prayed for the welfare of the people to save air, water and earth.
In the Ardas performed by Sant Seechewal Ji before Shri Guru Granth Sahib before starting the Nagar Kirtan, the issue of pollution-free rivers of Punjab is seriously raised. During this Ardas, Sant Seechewal says, "May the governments be blessed, may the system be guided, may the forces of evil be protected, may the people be blessed, may the air, water and earth remain usable for future generations." The Kar Sewa of the Budha River was also highly mentioned in the Ardas and the ongoing Seva after the devastation caused by the recent floods was made a part of the Ardas. The Ardas performed in all Nagar Kirtans has also become a topic of discussion.
The farmers of this area also thanked Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal Ji for cleaning the holy Bein and the waterlogging in this area has ended. The farmers said that the Nagar Kirtan should be started again on the banks of the holy Bein.
This Nagar Kirtan started at 8 am from the Gurughar of village Dhanoa and passed through Himmatpur, Shatabkot, Barakhia, Terkiana, Chhurian, Nehr Pul, Bararowal, Begpur, Bhekhowal, Khepra, Bhogian, Saidowal, Ghaiya, Budhobarkat, Chhorian, Galowal Nawan and Galowal Purana and ended at Nirmal Kutia Galowal located on the holy banks of the Bein in the evening.
