Garhshankar:- It has been reported that 32 devotees drowned in the Yamuna river during a religious pilgrimage in Mathura Vrindavan, out of which 10 devotees died. Which is a very unfortunate incident. Therefore, the founder president of Adarsh ??Social Welfare Society Punjab, Satish Kumar Soni, said that we express our regret for this unfortunate accident and pray to the Supreme Father God for the spiritual peace of the departed souls during this time and pray for the happiness and peace of the lives of the missing devotees.
He said that the governments of the time should make suitable arrangements for these pilgrimages. It should be ensured that boats and other vehicles carry only the number of pilgrims they can accommodate. It has been observed that when religious pilgrimages take place, drivers, out of greed for more income, take more passengers than their capacity and play with their lives. The administration should take strict action against them.
