SAS Nagar, October 13- The condition of the garbage house built in Phase 1 of Mohali is very pathetic. Garbage is scattered on this place every day up to the road. Residents say that in addition to the residents of Phase 1, garbage from Balongi, Phase 2, Phase 6 and many other places is being thrown at this place.
In this regard, the villagers have also put up a board here, in which it is written about throwing garbage inside the garbage house, but despite this, people throw garbage on the road and leave. Although the municipal vehicle collects garbage from here every day, but after some time the situation becomes the same.
Due to the garbage coming up to the road, pedestrians, scooters, motorcycles, and car drivers have to face a lot of difficulties. There is also a vegetable market next to this garbage dump and these shopkeepers also throw their waste here. Due to the rotten vegetables lying around, an unbearable stench is created here and there is a risk of many types of diseases.
There are also food shops in front of the garbage dump. Due to this garbage, these shopkeepers also have to face many types of problems. Customers hesitate to buy any goods from them due to the garbage. On holidays, its condition becomes even worse than on normal days.
More than half of the garbage ends up on the road. Residents demand that this place be sprayed with medicine and action be taken against those who throw garbage on the road.
