Nawanshahr:- The annual Jor Mela of the Bali Got Jathera was celebrated with great devotion this time too with the support of the entire organizing committee in village Muzaffarpur. First of all, the flag hoisting ceremony was performed. In which the devotees participated in large numbers. After this, the devotees who came from far and wide to the fair paid homage to the religious place of the Jathera. In the religious program organized later, the famous singer Lucky Hiala attended with his religious songs. He made the devotees dance and sway with his songs.
On this occasion, the president of the organizing committee, Des Raj Bali Mubarakpur, said that as per the decision taken unanimously by the organizing committee, in the Jor Mela to be held every year the day after Diwali, sewing machines will be presented to the needy women and widows belonging to the Bali Got Jathera to stand on their feet. He said that such noble efforts will continue continuously by the management committee with the support of the congregation.
On this occasion, the management committee specially honored prominent personalities. Langar of this deceased Guru was served in abundance and cold sweet water was offered.
