Thalassemic Charitable Trust celebrated 77th Republic Day by organizing blood donation camp
Panchkula:- Thalassemic Charitable Trust and Department of Transfusion Medicine, PGIMER in collaboration with Globe Overseas Education Consultants celebrated the 77th Republic Day by organizing its 324th Blood Donation Camp at Sector 10, Panchkula.
The main objective of this camp was to help children suffering from Thalassemia and other serious patients. 35 voluntary blood donors participated in the camp, who were honored with gifts and appreciation certificates.
Pro. In this camp organized under the supervision of (Dr.) Ratti Ram Sharma (Head of Department, PGI) and Shri Rajinder Kalra (Member Secretary, TCT), people were also made aware about Thalassemia. Dr. Sharma said that Thalassemia patients need blood transfusion every 15-20 days,
hence it is very important for the society to come forward. The entire team of the Trust including Madan Gandhi and Amit Sood were present on this occasion.
