Hoshiarpur:- Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain has issued special instructions regarding the movement of tippers/trucks carrying mining materials on village Jejon to Mahilpur road and Nangal to Garhshankar road in Hoshiarpur district. As per these orders, the movement of vehicles carrying mining materials on these routes will be only from 7.00 pm to 7.00 am and beyond this time, the movement of these vehicles will be completely banned till March 20, 2026.
The Deputy Commissioner further informed that in continuation of the above orders, special arrangements have been made keeping in mind the state level function to be held at Sri Khuralgarh Sahib, Tehsil Garhshankar, District Hoshiarpur (Minar-e-Begampura), Charan Chhoh Ganga and Gurdwara Sahib on the occasion of 649th Parkash Utsav of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj from February 4 to February 6, 2026.
During this period, to ensure the convenience of the devotees, smooth traffic system and public safety, the movement of tippers/trucks carrying mining materials on village Jejon to Mahilpur Road and Nangal to Garhshankar Road will remain completely closed from February 4, 2026 to February 6, 2026.
