Teachers protest against forced nonacademic duties
Garhshankar, June 14:- In the name of drug cum socio-economic sensitization, the Punjab government has forced teachers to do non-academic duties and misused government machinery to fulfill its political interests. Using technology, such questions are to be asked from the common people in which the opinion of the people is being taken regarding the schemes of the government and they will also be asked what other work the government should do. Teachers are being continuously forced to do duty outside schools, which has also had a large impact on the education of poor students.
On this occasion, Tehsildar Mr. Munish Kumar Ji reached the dharna and received the demand letter, agreed with all the arguments of the leaders and assured that the demand of the teachers will be conveyed to the SDM Sahib.
