Teachers Promoted at LUVAS ViceChancellor Hands Over Orders

Hisar:- At Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (LUVAS), Hisar, teachers of various departments were granted promotion under the Career Advancement Scheme (CAS). On the recommendation of the Personnel Committee and the Board of Management of the University, Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Vinod Kumar Verma issued the promotion orders on Wednesday at the Vice-Chancellor Secretariat. On this occasion, Registrar of the University Dr. R. N. Chaudhary was also present.
According to the orders issued by the University, Dr. Ashok Kumar Malik (Meat Technology), Dr. Vikas Nehra (Veterinary Pathology), Dr. Renu Gupta (Veterinary Public Health), Dr. Gyan Singh (Veterinary Gynaecology and Obstetrics), Dr. Divya Agnihotri (Veterinary Medicine), Dr. Aman Kumar (Animal Biotechnology), Dr. Vandana Bhanot (Veterinary Microbiology) and Dr. Deepika (Veterinary Pathology) were granted promotion under the Career Advancement Scheme. Apart from this, Dr. Biswa Ranjan Maharana was promoted to the post of Senior Scientist (Veterinary Parasitology).
On this occasion, Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Vinod Kumar Verma, while congratulating all the promoted teachers, said that teachers are the biggest strength of any university. He said that promotion is not only an honour for excellent work, but also a symbol of trust towards new responsibilities. He expressed hope that all the promoted teachers will further strengthen the academic quality and national level reputation of the University by doing excellent work in education, research and extension activities.
According to the University Administration, all promotions have been granted in accordance with the notified Career Advancement Scheme of the University, the University Act and the rules and guidelines issued from time to time.
On this occasion, LUVAS Teachers Association (LUVASTA) President Dr. Amit Poonia, while congratulating all the promoted teachers on behalf of the entire LUVASTA, said that this achievement is an honour for their hard work, dedication and excellent work. Expressing his gratitude to Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Vinod Kumar Verma and the University Administration, he said that the time-bound and transparent disposal of matters related to the promotion of teachers reflects the positive working style of the administration. 
This will boost the morale of the teachers, infuse new energy in them and they will play an important role in taking the University to new heights by working with more dedication in education, research and extension activities.
