Swachhta Bin Sewa Dharam Welfare Society donated relief materials to the Red Society
Hoshiarpur:- The District Red Cross Society, Hoshiarpur, which is being run under the able leadership of Deputy Commissioner-cum-President, District Red Cross Society Ashika Jain, today donated essential health care related materials to help the needy by ‘Swachhta Bin Sewa Dharam Welfare Society, Hoshiarpur. On this occasion, members of Swachhta Bin Sewa Dharam Welfare Society Sarabjit Singh, Ashok Kumar Sharma, Amit Sharma, Karandeep Singh, Rajan Anand, Harkamaljit Kaur, Pooja Sharma, Monica Singh, Sohan Kaur provided baby diapers, essential medicines, raincoats, Dettol soap and Odomos boxes to the District Red Cross Society.
All these items have been donated keeping in mind the health and safety of the weaker sections of the society, especially children and mothers. The members of Swachhta Bin Sewa Dharam Welfare Society said that their aim is to increase social cooperation and human service. Their small contribution to the service being done by the Red Cross Society will be helpful in this sacred work. Especially during the rainy and winter seasons, these items will be useful for the needy families.
District Red Cross Society Secretary Mangesh Sood thanked Swachhta Bin Sewa Dharam Welfare Society and said that this support will be distributed to poor families, kiln workers and disaster-affected people during the service projects and disaster camps being run by us. This will provide special support to the health and safety of children. Red Cross Executive Committee member Vinod Ohri and other staff members were present on the occasion.
