Surendra Agarwal Reappointed State President of Akhil Bharatiya Agarwal Sammelan Punjab

Hoshiarpur: The newly constituted National Executive Committee (2026-2031) of the Akhil Bharatiya Agarwal Sammelan has once again placed its trust in Dr. Surendra Agarwal—a senior social worker and skilled organizer who has steered the organization to new heights in Punjab—by reappointing him as the State President of the Punjab unit. Meanwhile, Ashok Agarwal, a dedicated and active worker of the organization, has once again been entrusted with the crucial responsibility of State General Secretary.
The appointment letter issued by the organization's National President, Shri Basant Kumar Mittal, and National General Secretary, Shri Gopal Goyal, states that Dr. Surendra Agarwal has been re-entrusted with this significant responsibility in recognition of his commitment to society, dedication to the organization, strong leadership capabilities, and remarkable contribution to organizational expansion within Punjab.
The national leadership has reaffirmed its faith in Dr. Surendra Agarwal based on the achievements of the Punjab unit during his previous tenure. Under his leadership, the organization accomplished a historic milestone by securing the inclusion of the life, ideals, and principles of Maharaja Agrasen Ji in the 8th-grade curriculum of government schools. Additionally, artificial limbs were provided to numerous needy differently-abled individuals through the 'Artificial Limbs Project.' To ensure a bright future for students, a career counseling project was launched, providing expert guidance to thousands of students. Alongside providing educational and financial support to needy Agarwal students, the organization continuously carried out various service activities, such as medical assistance for TB patients and other needy families, organizing eye check-up and treatment camps, assisting flood-affected families during natural disasters, and helping construct homes for the needy. These initiatives undertaken for the welfare of society have earned the Punjab unit a distinct identity across the country. On this occasion, while expressing gratitude to the national leadership, Dr. Surendra Agrawal and Ashok Agrawal remarked that this role represents both an honor and a significant responsibility. They assured that, with the support of the entire Punjab state team, they would work with complete dedication and commitment to organize the community, empower the youth, accelerate service initiatives, and propagate the ideals of Maharaja Agrasen Ji among the masses.
