Supply of LPG petrol and diesel continues uninterrupted no need to panic DC
Hoshiarpur- Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain said today that the supply of LPG, petrol, and diesel in the district is continuing regularly, and there is no need for anyone to panic in this regard. The Deputy Commissioner stated that a continuous supply of petrol and diesel is being ensured at petrol pumps, and people should act with patience. She said that although a crisis has arisen due to the situation in the Middle East, gas and oil are continuously being made available to the public.
She informed that the district administration is constantly monitoring the supply of oil and gas so that people do not face any kind of difficulty. She said that there will be no shortage of LPG gas for domestic consumers, and cylinders are being supplied as per requirement for commercial activities as well.
The Deputy Commissioner stated that the prescribed guidelines regarding commercial LPG supply are being followed, while medical and educational institutions are being given priority. At the same time, industrial canteens and other commercial establishments are being provided supply in limited quantities to maintain balance and ensure that essential services are not affected.
She said that in the past few days, shortage was observed at some petrol pumps in certain places. She clarified that the district administration is in continuous coordination with all petroleum companies, and the situation is completely normal. Ashika Jain appealed to the residents of the district not to fall for any kind of rumors and to avoid hoarding.
She also said that the district administration is receiving timely directions from the Government of India and the Government of Punjab, and is taking necessary steps in coordination with all concerned companies.
