Sunil Kumar creates history by winning two silver medals in Dubai

Una, February 12:- Sunil Kumar, a promising para-athlete from the Amb subdivision of Una district, has brought laurels to the state and country internationally by winning two silver medals in the 17th Fazza International Para Athletics Championship held in Dubai.
He won the silver medal in the javelin throw event with a throw of 32.47 meters, and the second silver medal in the shot put competition with a throw of 8.04 meters.
Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, in his congratulatory message, said that Sunil Kumar's achievement is a testament to Himachal's sporting talent. He said that performing exceptionally well at the international level despite adverse circumstances is highly commendable. The Chief Minister expressed confidence that Sunil will continue to win medals for the country in the future. He said that the state government is committed to providing all possible support to the athletes.
