Mansa:- The Punjab government has formally announced summer vacations in all schools in the state from June 1 to June 30. The Education Department has issued a notification and letter in this regard. According to the orders issued by the Education Secretary, this decision will be equally applicable to all government, government-aided and recognized private schools in the state.
According to the academic calendar issued and government orders, these vacations will start from June 1 and continue till June 30 and after this, all schools will reopen on July 1 as per their pre-determined time.
It is noteworthy that due to the increasing heat and heatwave for the last few days, parents were also demanding to have the vacations early, keeping in mind the health of school children, which has now been confirmed by the government, which has now formally announced these 30-day vacations. The department has instructed school administrators to ensure strict compliance with these orders.
