Ludhiana:- The office of Harpreet Singh Simak, former judge and in-charge of Shiromani Akali Dal for the Gill constituency, was inaugurated by former Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal. Addressing the large gathering of Shiromani Akali Dal leaders, workers, and supporters present at the event, party president Sukhbir Singh Badal praised Harpreet Singh Simak and remarked that he observes the workers of the Gill constituency working very hard every day. 
He stated that there is a pressing need to save Punjab today, and only a regional party can protect the state. He alleged that previously there were Congress looters, and now Punjab is being looted and oppressed by the Aam Aadmi Party. He further asserted that Punjab's progress took place only during the tenure of the Shiromani Akali Dal government.
 On the occasion of the inauguration, former judge Harpreet Singh Simak and other senior leaders also specially honored President Sukhbir Singh Badal.
