Successful Organization of a ThreeDay Summer Camp by Brahma Kumaris
Mohali, June 14, 2026:- A successful three-day summer camp was organized by Brahma Kumaris Sukh Shanti Bhawan, Phase-7, Mohali, from June 12 to 14, 2026. A total of 80 children, divided into age groups of 6–12 and 12–17 years, participated in this camp with great enthusiasm.
For the younger children, interesting and inspiring sessions were conducted on topics such as "Power of Gratitude," "Good Habits vs. Bad Habits," "Confidence and Exam Fear," and "Mood Off to Mood On." The children also prepared thank-you cards, expressing their gratitude towards their parents and the Almighty.
For the older children, sessions were held on topics like "Power of Giving," "Communication Skills," "Magic of Meditation," "Digital Detox," and "Power of Good Habits." Through various quizzes, games, creative activities, and video presentations, the importance of positive thinking, self-confidence, and responsibility in life was explained to the children.
On the concluding day, a "Talent Hunt" was organized, where children showcased their talents through singing, dancing, poetry, speeches, and other arts.
A special "Positive Parenting" session was also organized for the parents. BK Meena shared practical tips for successful and virtuous upbringing, emphasizing the importance of positive communication, loving behavior, patience, and encouragement in parenting.
During the program, BK Rama Didi, in-charge of the Rupnagar Service Center, highlighted the importance of Rajyoga Meditation, stating that meditation is an effective tool for mental peace, concentration, and emotional balance for both children and parents. She also guided everyone in practicing Rajyoga Meditation.
This entire summer camp was conducted under the able guidance and inspiration of BK Prem Didi, in-charge of the Mohali Circle. At the closing ceremony, Prem Didi honored the children who performed excellently in the Talent Hunt and other activities with gifts and gave them blessings for a bright future.
The parents appreciated the summer camp, stating that such programs are extremely useful for the moral development and positive thinking of children. The children also described the camp as very interesting and informative, expressing their desire to participate in such programs again in the future.
