Una, June 7: The Himachal Pradesh State Eligibility Test (HP-SET)-2026 was successfully conducted in Una district on Sunday. Eight centers were established across the district for the examination, with a total of 2,577 candidates assigned to appear.
In the first session, 1,817 candidates took the exam, while 760 were absent. In the second session, 1,781 candidates appeared, and 796 were absent. An attendance rate of approximately 70 percent was recorded across both sessions.
Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal stated that examination centers were set up at Government College Una (Center-1 and Center-2), Government Girls Senior Secondary School Una, Government Boys Senior Secondary School Una, LJNH Government Girls College Kotla Khurd, SSRVM Senior Secondary School Lower Kotla, Government ITI Una, and Rockford Day Boarding Senior Secondary Public School Rakkar Colony.
He mentioned that all necessary arrangements were ensured at every examination center. With the cooperation of the district administration and the officials and staff involved in conducting the exam, the process was completed in a peaceful and orderly manner.
