Haryana/Hisar:- An industrial exposure visit to Minda Webport Limited company in Manesar, Gurugram, was organized for the students of the Government Women's Industrial Training Institute, in collaboration with Quest Alliance. The objective of this visit was to familiarize the students with the real work environment in industries and to further strengthen their technical skills.
During the exposure visit, the company's experienced and skilled staff provided the students with detailed information about the actual working processes, discipline, safety standards, and modern technologies in the industrial environment. The students were given a tour of the company's plant, where they observed the production process firsthand. In addition, the students also visited the training branch and the HR branch, which gave them insights into human resource management and training systems in industries.
The institute's principal, Bhup Singh, said that the main objective of such industrial visits is to hone the technical skills of the students and to familiarize them with real-world industrial practices. He said that such visits contribute to the mental development of the students and also enhance their technical knowledge, which strengthens their future employment opportunities.
Experienced staff members of the institute, including Sangeeta Sharma, Instructor Vimla, Instructor Rita, Instructor Ajay Selwal, and Somveer (Placement In-charge), also participated in this exposure visit and guided the students.
The institute plans to organize similar industrial visits in the future to prepare the students with practical knowledge and to equip them to meet the changing needs of the industries.
