Karnal, July 1: Doctor’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm on Wednesday at the auditorium of Karnal International School. The event was organized for students of class 11 and 12 who are preparing for medical entrance exams including NEET.
School Chairman Col. Arun Dutta and Director Prakash Joshi were the keynote speakers at the event. Addressing the students, the school’s Medical Incharge, Rajwinder Kaur, highlighted the importance of Doctor’s Day and appreciated the service, dedication and compassion of doctors in the medical field.
Medical faculty member Abhay Saini used a PowerPoint presentation to inform the students about career prospects in the medical field and effective strategies for NEET preparation. During this, Gaurav motivated the students to pursue a successful career in medicine and gave valuable advice. In his address, Chairman Col. Arun Dutta remarked that the role of doctors in providing quality healthcare to the vast population of the country is like that of true warriors.
 Praising the contribution of doctors – from the eradication of diseases like smallpox and polio to their efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic – he urged the students to prioritize integrity, spirit of service and ethical values in the medical profession. The event concluded with the national anthem.
