Students formed a human chain conveying the message of national unity
Karnal, November 15: The 150th anniversary of "Vande Mataram" was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotism under the aegis of the NSS Cell at the Government Women's College, Gharaunda Bastara. The program began with the group singing of Vande Mataram. NSS volunteers formed a human chain to convey the message of national unity.
The program was conducted by NSS Program Officer Ms. Pooja Rani. She elaborated on the history of Vande Mataram and its role in the freedom movement, further fueling the patriotic fervor among the students. College Principal Mrs. Kamlesh Rani stated that Vande Mataram is not just a song, but a symbol of national pride and unity.
Senior faculty member Mrs. Deepa Dhull led the group singing and, while interacting with the students, highlighted its emotional significance. NSS committee members Mrs. Anuradha, Mrs. Shruti, Mr. Vikram Singh, and colleagues Mr. Hitendra Kumar, Pawan Kumar, Mrs. Apoorva, Mr. Satish Kumar, and Mrs. Mamta played a key role in making the program a success. The enthusiastic participation of all the volunteers made the event memorable. The program concluded with the singing of the national anthem.
