Student Police Credits trained in disaster management first aid and rescue of victims

Patiala:- The Government of India and Punjab are taking special steps to prepare students of 10 schools of Patiala as Student Police Credits to connect them with police activities and public welfare schemes, future natural and human disasters, security and rescue during wars, and relief work. For this purpose, training is being given to Credits on various subjects through the District Education Officer Secondary and In-charge Saanjh Kendras.
In this regard, under the leadership of Sub Inspector Bhupinder Singh, in-charge of Saanjh Kendra Rajpura, training was given to the students, teachers and villagers of Government High School, Madanpur Chalheri on the activities of police and Saanjh Kendras, public security, assisting victims, disaster management, first aid, fire safety by Mr. Kaka Ram Verma, and Sub Inspector Bhupinder Singh that thousands of lives can be saved by training and practicing to save precious lives and properties during natural or human disasters, wars, domestic or field factories, road incidents, fires, gas leaks, electric current, and building collapse.
School Student Police Credit In-charge Mrs. Anupam, Principal Mrs. Harpreet Kaur, village panchayat members thanked them and said that they have been given training and practice to save lives and properties during disaster management, first aid, fire safety and domestic incidents for the first time.
He thanked the Punjab Government, Police and Education Department officials and the retired Training Supervisor of the Red Cross Society, Mr. Kaka Ram Verma. He requested the Punjab Government to provide such training to students, teachers and villagers of all villages to face the challenges of the future.
