He stated that the Sub-Divisional Officer, Civil Assandh, has issued a show-cause notice to the departmental team, including the JE, village secretary, patwari, VLDA, supervisor from the Agriculture Department, and others, who failed to prevent the arson incident in village Rahda. Disciplinary action will be taken against them.
Deputy Director of Agriculture, Dr. Wazir Singh, stated that after investigating the location, an FIR has been filed against the farmer. He also stated that villagers are being continuously educated. He appealed to farmers not to set stubble on fire, as burning only harms farmers. Doing so results in a red entry on the Meri Fasal Mera Byora portal, which will prevent them from availing any government scheme.
