Santoshgarh/Una, May 28 (Rajveer Chopra):— Herds of stray dogs were spotted roaming around Nangal Railway Station during the morning hours, creating an atmosphere of fear and insecurity among passengers. These dogs, present within the station premises, were observed barking continuously at people coming and going.
The elderly, women, and children, in particular, faced significant inconvenience. Passengers stated that the rising number of stray dogs in a busy public space like a railway station is a matter of serious concern.
Locals alleged that insufficient attention is being paid to security and sanitation arrangements within the station premises. Residents warned that if this issue is not resolved in a timely manner, it could potentially lead to an untoward incident.
Local citizens and passengers have urged the administration and the Railway Department to promptly resolve the problem of stray dogs within the station premises, thereby ensuring a safe and improved environment for travelers.
