Star of Hoshiarpur in Mexico City 17yearold footballer Aakash made India proud
Hoshiarpur:- A special conversation was held with Akash, a 17-year-old football player who has made the name of his village, block, district, Punjab and India shine abroad in the field of football. Aakash performed brilliantly in the Street Child World Cup 2026, Mexico City and was instrumental in leading his team YFC to the finals.
Playing as the goalkeeper, Akash and his team did not lose a single match in the entire tournament and made it to the finals by displaying excellent performances. Although the team finished runners-up, their performance won everyone's hearts.
On Akash's return to his village Panjod (District Hoshiarpur) there was an atmosphere of happiness and excitement in the entire area. The villagers gave him a grand welcome, distributed sweets and expressed pride over this achievement. People wished Akash ke bright future and blessed him.
