Chandigarh, February 9:- Egypt, which is participating as a partner country in the 39th International Surajkund Crafts Fair being held in Faridabad this year, is captivating the tourists with its unique blend of ancient culture and modern handicrafts. The artworks displayed on the stalls of Egypt in the International Pavilion are not only the center of attraction but are also introducing the cultural roots of Egypt.

This year, the handmade bags made of jute at the stall of Egypt in the International Pavilion are being liked a lot by the tourists, especially women. Stall manager Amil said that these bags have been prepared with special craftsmanship and their price has been kept between Rs 3,000 and Rs 5,000 depending on their quality and design.

A magnificent collection of cups, plates and pots made of the famous ceramic art of sculptor Muhammad Ali Muhammad Mishar has been decorated at this stall. The fine carvings and special colors done on these pots are attracting the tourists.
