Sri Manimahesh Langar concludes with sweet memories Dr Ranjit Singh

Harsa Mansar, August 3:- The month-long langar organized by Sri Manimahesh Langar Committee Harsa Mansar on the national highway to serve the pilgrims of Sri Amarnath and Mata Vaishno Devi concluded today with a reverent performance of ‘Shiv Viya Katha’ in the traditional Jangam style.
During the closing ceremony organized under the leadership of the committee president Sanjeev Anand, the artists of Sri Manimahesh Jangam Party, Kurukshetra presented a meaningful and captivating presentation of Shiva Viya Katha in their traditional Jangam style. The entire atmosphere became Shiva-like with the Katha and Bhajans. Shiva devotees were seen dancing and swaying on the Bhajans, mesmerized. The entire langar pandal echoed with the chants of ‘Om Namah Shivaye’, ‘Har Har Mahadev’ and ‘Jai Baba Amarnath Barfani’.
On this occasion, the President of the Committee, Sanjeev Anand, said that more than 25 thousand devotees took advantage of the prasad and other services in this langar that lasted for a month. He said that the excellent cooperation given by the Central and Punjab Governments as well as various departments of the civil and police administration played an important role in making the arrangements of the langar smooth and better.
The General Secretary of the Committee, Jeevan Sharma, said that the colleagues and servants who contributed to the success of the langar were honored by the Committee by presenting them with mementos of the Shiv Parivar. He specially thanked the print and electronic media and also honored Punjab Press Club member K.S. Amar and Media Executive of All India Radio Jalandhar, Kajal Saini.
The closing ceremony was attended by Finance Secretary Lakhan Singh Rana, Vice President Dr. Surinder Pappu, Subedar Prakash Chand, Thakur Updesh Singh, Somraj, Ramlal, Ravi Haveli, Parasram, Ashok Kumar, Ranjit Kumar Laddu, Mukesh Bagga, Tony Jamwal, Vijay Romi, Vijay Sharma, Pandit Tarsem Lal, Prem Chand Sharma, Professor Ajay Sharma, Sunit Kumar and many other Shiv devotees and servants were present. During the function, the devotees and servants shared sweet memories related to the month-long Langar Seva and resolved to continue serving the religious pilgrims with the same spirit of service in the future as well.
