Sunam, July 23:- As part of the Punjab Government's statewide awareness campaign commemorating the 650th Prakash Purb of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj, a documentary showcasing the life, philosophy and timeless teachings of the revered saint was screened at Village Haqiqatpura. The screening witnessed enthusiastic participation from villagers, who watched the documentary with great interest and appreciated the government's initiative to spread the saint's inspiring message across the state.
Speaking on the occasion, Sarpanch of Village Haqiqatpura, Simran Kaur, said that the Punjab Government's initiative to take the message of social equality, universal brotherhood and humanity propagated by Sri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj to every household is highly commendable. She said the documentary serves as an effective medium for acquainting the younger generation with the saint's inspiring life and values while encouraging them to uphold the ideals of equality, compassion and social harmony.
She further appealed to the villagers to imbibe the principles of truth, hard work, equality and humanity preached by Sri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj and contribute towards building a progressive, inclusive and discrimination-free society.
