Special Kavi Sanvaad on Is Dharti Te Rehindeyan

Chandigarh:- During the Nav Kavita Utsav organized by the Punjab Kala Parishad Chandigarh on 30 May 2026, a special literary dialogue was held on Amarjit Kaunke’s poetry collection “Is Dharti ’Te Rehindeyan” (Living on This Earth).
On this occasion, Dr. Kuldeep Singh presented a thoughtful and deeply moving paper on the book. He stated that Amarjit Kaunke’s poetry is profoundly connected with the realities of life and gives voice to the joys and sorrows of people living on this earth. He also shared several valuable observations and critical insights about the collection.
Speaking at the event, Swarnjit Savi recalled his childhood association with Amarjit Kaunke and remarked that Kaunke’s poetry is the poetry of struggle. He said that he has witnessed Kaunke’s journey of perseverance from childhood to the present day, and that this very struggle forms the core essence of his poems.
Several other literary enthusiasts and participants also shared their views on the book.
The programme also featured extensive discussions on books authored by Dr. Manmohan, Jaswant Singh Zafar, Amarjit Grewal, Swarnjit Savi, and Dr. Navdeep Kaur.
Punjab Kala Parishad, Chandigarh, deserves appreciation for organizing this beautiful and meaningful poetic dialogue.
