Jaito, November 5:- Today, a special prayer assembly was organized with great devotion and enthusiasm at Alliance International School, Jaito on the auspicious occasion of Gurupurab. The program began with the chanting of "? ??????", which filled the atmosphere with holiness and peace.
The students gave emotional speeches on the life and teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. And a melodious 'Shabad Kirtan' was performed, which brought tears to everyone's eyes with devotion and love. Guru is the lamp of knowledge, which removes ignorance.
A Punjabi poetry recitation competition was also organized on this occasion, in which students of classes I to VIII participated. Ayan Garg and Reyanshi of class I secured the first position, and Jasmehar secured the second position. Somil of class II secured the first position, Rajel and Rudraksh secured the second position. Aira of class 3 and 4 secured the first position, Naira and Jaskirat secured the second position.
Nazpreet, Kudrat and Mansirat of class 5 and 6 secured the first position, and Bhuvika secured the second position. Nimrit, Nandini and Geetanshi of class 7 and 8 secured the first position, and Har Kudrat and Barbani secured the second position. In her message, Principal Mrs. Gursevak Kaur Mann said that Guru Nanak Dev Ji showed the path of humanity, truth and service.
She motivated the students to adopt the teachings of the Guru in their lives. At the end of the assembly, everyone chanted "Waheguru Waheguru" together. A beautiful atmosphere of love, peace and unity prevailed in the school campus. The message of service, meditation, truth, this is the teaching of Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
