Patiala:- Efforts are being made to make the students of PM Shri Government Senior Secondary Smart School Kalyan Police Credits, in future problems, disasters, heart attacks, cardiac arrest, to protect themselves and help the victims, by conducting training exercises to make them the helping angels of the victims. These ideas were expressed by the Principal of the school, Mrs. Ramandeep Kaur, while thanking Mr. Kaka Ram Verma Disaster Management, First Aid, Fire Safety Trainer.
She said that the SPC students of the school were trained on self-defense and first aid, CPR, recovery position of the victims during heart attacks, cardiac arrest, fainting, shock, low blood sugar, fire, electric shock, internal bleeding.
Kaka Ram Verma thanked the principal and said that in today's time, 80% of deaths and disabilities are due to accidents, domestic incidents, heart attacks, fainting, internal injuries of the head, internal fluid entering the brain or respiratory tract, the victims can be saved from death and disability by providing proper first aid immediately on the spot.
SPC Incharge Teacher Mr. Kushlinder Singh thanked the principal and said that the Punjab government is making the students of classes 8th to 9th of his school aware of disaster management, first aid, fire safety, traffic safety, helping victims, following rules, laws and duties, for which the officers of the Police Saanjh Kendra and Mr. Kaka Ram Verma Retired Training Supervisor Red Cross Society are making commendable efforts, who are going to educational institutions and giving training and exercises to students and teachers to save precious lives.
Today's students, by taking all these trainings, can become responsible and loyal citizens in the future, helping the country, society, home and families, saving precious lives and properties during emergencies and assisting the administration.
