Son of Former Congress Leader Commits Suicide by Shooting Himself

Bathinda/Maur Mandi, March 31:— Tragic news has been received that Davinder Pal Singh Natt—son of the late former Congress leader Sukhraj Singh Natt (who hailed from the Maur Assembly constituency) and a lawyer by profession—has committed suicide at his residence in Ganpati Enclave, Bathinda, by shooting himself with his licensed revolver. Before taking his own life, Davinder Pal recorded a video and uploaded it to social media, where it subsequently went viral.
In the video, he held Builder Binderpal Mittal—the owner of a Chandigarh-based company named 'Sushma'—along with his two sons, Bharat Mittal and Prateek Mittal, responsible for his death. In the video, he alleged that he had been defrauded of ?4 crore.
In the video, he stated that the owner of Sushma Builders, Binderpal Mittal, was refusing to return his money and that he was being harassed; consequently, he was taking the step of committing suicide. Based on the statement provided by the deceased's mother, the Bathinda Police have registered a case against Sushma Builders' owner, Binderpal Mittal, and his two sons—Bharat Mittal and Prateek Mittal—and have initiated further legal proceedings.
