Social Security Pension Beneficiaries Must Complete EKYC Verification by February 15 Awas Pandit

Una, February 4.  To ensure timely, transparent, and direct disbursement of pension amounts to beneficiaries of social security pension schemes in the state, the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment has implemented an online e-KYC verification system. A mobile app has also been developed by the department to simplify this process.
District Welfare Officer Una, Awas Pandit, informed that the pensions of social security pension beneficiaries who have not yet completed their e-KYC verification have been temporarily suspended. He appealed to all such beneficiaries to ensure that they complete their e-KYC verification by February 15, 2026.
He clarified that failure to complete e-KYC verification within the stipulated period may render the concerned beneficiary ineligible for the pension, and the pension may be permanently stopped. Additionally, if any helpless pensioner does not have an Aadhaar card for any reason, or if it requires correction or updating, they can contact the concerned Tehsil Welfare Officer for necessary assistance.
The District Welfare Officer stated that for information related to e-KYC verification or for resolving any problems, beneficiaries can contact their nearest District Welfare Officer, Tehsil Welfare Officer, Child Development Project Officer, Child Development Project Supervisor, or the concerned Anganwadi worker.
