Small traders getting new strength with digital payments Chief Minister

Chandigarh, March 18:- Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini, while responding to questions from the opposition regarding the adverse impact on the business of small shopkeepers in the state due to the increasing trend of online shopping, said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, today India has emerged as a power in the world, where even street vendors are using UPI digital payments. No trader or shopkeeper has any problem. If anyone has a problem, it is the Congress.
The Chief Minister was answering a question asked by MLA Mr. Balwan Singh Daulatpuria during the Question Hour in the Budget Session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha on Wednesday.
Responding to a question from the MLA regarding the proposal to impose a heavy tax on online purchases to support small retail traders, the Chief Minister said that the opposition is not aware of the facts and they talk like this in the absence of information.
Mr. Naib Singh Saini said that even in the Corona period, the Central Government had given interest-free loans of up to Rs. 10,000 to the street vendors so that no one should face any trouble. The traders are not facing any trouble, the only problem is the Congress that why the money is going online, it should come directly.

Taking a dig at the absence of most of the Congress MLAs in the Vidhan Sabha during Question Hour, the Chief Minister said that the opposition party has become so frustrated and disappointed that they have not come to the House even to hear answers to their questions during Question Hour, so how will they be able to effectively raise the issues of the people of the state in the House.
