Sleeping with a burning stove in a hotel room proved to be expensive

Kurukshetra:- Five labourers, including a contractor from Uttar Pradesh, died of suffocation in Kurukshetra, Haryana. After returning from work on Monday, the five were sleeping with a burning coal stove in a room of Hotel Sterling near the district jail. When they did not wake up for a long time on Tuesday, the hotel staff called the police.
According to information, the police broke the door and went inside. The scene inside shocked everyone. All five were lying unconscious. They were immediately taken to the nearest hospital, where doctors declared them dead. The police then took possession of the bodies and sent them to the civil hospital for postmortem.
According to the police, all the deceased were residents of Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh. They included four labourers and a contractor. According to the hotel manager, the five had come to the hotel on Monday evening to paint.
