Sixth bus departs from Mohali under the Chief Ministers Pilgrimage Bus Scheme

Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, February 23:- MLA Kulwant Singh today flagged off the sixth bus from the Mohali Assembly constituency under the Chief Minister's Pilgrimage Bus Scheme in Sector 66.
Constituency coordinator and state awardee Phoolraj Singh, Manjeet Singh (President, Gurudwara Management Committee), Gopal Sharma (President, Temple Committee), Arun Goyal (Block President), former councilor Rajni Goyal, Krishna Lal Kapoor, and Pitambar Ji were also present on the occasion.
Speaking to reporters, MLA Kulwant Singh said that under the Chief Minister's Pilgrimage Bus Scheme, a bus carrying pilgrims is being sent every third day from 117 assembly constituencies across Punjab. The Punjab government is bearing the entire cost of travel, accommodation, and food for the pilgrims. In addition, a guide and a medical officer are deployed with the pilgrims during the pilgrimage.
He expressed his gratitude to Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Bhagwant Singh Mann and Aam Aadmi Party National Convenor Mr. Arvind Kejriwal for initiating this scheme for the benefit of the people of the state.
The MLA said that a bus carrying pilgrims departed from the Mohali Assembly constituency today, and all pilgrims embarking on the pilgrimage deserve congratulations. He prayed to God that the wishes of the pilgrims be fulfilled.
He further stated that while people typically arrange for financial assistance for pilgrimages, traveling as a group in this positive and collective environment, staying together for two or three days, and spending time with each other further strengthens mutual brotherhood. Sometimes, even people who did not know each other before return as family. This pilgrimage bus service is truly becoming a symbol of social harmony and brotherhood.
MLA Kulwant Singh stated that registrations are underway across the state for the ?10 lakh Chief Minister's Health Scheme launched by the Aam Aadmi Party government, and camps have been set up at various locations so that people can avail of the benefits as quickly as possible. Party workers and supporters are preparing detailed reports in various wards and villages across cities and submitting them to the relevant department.
He added that the administration is also organizing cultural programs in various cities to promote a green and colorful Punjab.
