Six Naxalites including Hidma mastermind of 76 soldiers killing killed
Jagdalpur:- Madhavi Hidma, one of the country's most dangerous Naxal commanders, was killed in an encounter in the Maredmili forest on the Chhattisgarh-Andhra Pradesh border on Tuesday morning. His wife, Raje alias Rajakka, and four other Naxalites were also killed, Chhattisgarh police confirmed.
According to agency reports, Home Minister Amit Shah had given a deadline of November 30 to the security forces to eliminate Hidma. Following this, a search operation was launched in the dense forests of Maredmili, located on the border of Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Telangana. Hidma was killed in this operation 12 days before the deadline.
Hidma has been the mastermind of more than 26 major Naxal attacks in the last two decades. This includes the 2010 Dantewada attack, in which 76 CRPF personnel were martyred. He also played a role in the 2013 Jhiram Valley attack and the 2021 Sukma-Bijapur attacks.
