Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran Katha Gyan Yajna organized by Mishra family was inaugurated
Kharar, 30 October 2025: The Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran Katha Gyan Yajna organized by Mishra family in Mata Gujri Enclave, Mundi (Kharar) was inaugurated today with an auspicious Kalash Yatra. In the beginning, Lord Shri Krishna was worshipped with due ceremony. The Kalash Yatra started from the residence of Shri Rohit Mishra ji and reached the ancient Shri Hanuman Temple, Kohri Wala Temple (Mundi Kharar). In the temple, Mahant Shri Ram Niwas ji welcomed the Yatra wholeheartedly. He filled the Kalash with holy water from the temple and got the Kalash anointed and blessed all the Kalash-carrying mothers, youth and devotees. On this occasion, the temple premises became filled with devotion with Bhajan-Kirtan and Harinama Sankirtan.
Local residents, women, youth and elders participated in the yatra with great enthusiasm. The atmosphere echoed with the chants of "Radhe Krishna", "Hari Bol". For the next 6 days, the Katha of the divine pastimes of Shri Krishna Ji will be narrated by Param Pujya Pandit Shri Ganeshchandra Shastri Ji (Gangotri Wale).
The Katha will be held daily from 04:00 PM to 07:00 PM.
Apart from this, the original text will be held from 08:00 to 11:00 am from 31st October to 4th November. Katha and Bhavya Bhandara will be held from 08:00 am to 02:00 pm on 5th November (closing day). Organizers: Rohit Mishra and Dr. Pratibha Mishra have humbly requested the residents of the entire area to come in large numbers and enjoy the Katha and get the benefit of this holy spiritual event for peace, prosperity and progress in the family, society and life.
