Chandigarh: The 22nd Foundation Day ceremony of Shri Sanatan Dharma Temple, Sector 45, was held in the temple premises. On this occasion, the temple's president, Harsh Kumar, informed that a special week-long Maha-Sankirtan (devotional singing) program was organized to mark the temple's foundation day.  ??During this program, women's devotional singing groups from various sectors presented devotional performances daily.
The temple's general secretary, M.L. Goyal, said that the temple's own devotional singing group performed bhajans (devotional songs) at the conclusion of the Maha-Sankirtan. The special guest at the program, Swami Shymanand Ji Maharaj, congratulated the entire committee on the foundation day and explained the meaning of social harmony and family enlightenment.
He emphasized establishing love, trust, and equality among all sections of society (harmony) and making families aware of their active role in nation-building through culture, values, and traditions (enlightenment), so that a strong, united, and responsible society can be built, transcending caste and religion. Area Councilor Gurpreet Singh Gabi also welcomed Swami Ji on this occasion.
